Wine Stories
The current chapter of my wine story has me wandering through a vineyard. I am not lost; I am captivated. Along the way, I have come to appreciate that each vine – each wine – has its own story. The vinegrower, the winemaker, even the soil and roots themselves, all blend together into stories worth telling.
As a certified wine professional, I enjoy telling the unique stories behind each wine; stories of the people who put heart and soul into creating it and those who have come to love tasting it. I educate wine enthusiasts who desire to widen their knowledge of the world of wine to include more grapes, more vineyards, and more blends. And I am a guide for the wine lover who wants to perfect their palate and acquire a taste for what they love most about wine.
Wine Certifications
In my pursuit of a wine profession, I became rooted in a broad range of wine knowledge. Beyond the exacting techniques of wine tasting, my training followed the journey of wine from budburst to bottle. It involved viticulture, from cultivation to harvest, as well as viniculture, from fermentation to bottle ageing. Even more, my education encompassed 100 grape varieties in over 20 wine regions around the world! All of this culminated in certification with the WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust). I have now joined an elite group of only 50% of the globe’s WSET3 candidates who are WSET Level 3 Certified (with Merit). Plus, I proudly earned my WSET Level 2 certification with Distinction.
Design for Wine
My extensive background in Instructional Design has provided me a plethora of ways to tell and to teach and I have directed this expertise toward the world of wine. I have over a decade of experience in ID along with an overflow of opportunities to serve as a learning content creator. I further expanded my skills and inspiration by earning a Master’s Degree in Learning Design and Technology at the University Colorado Denver in 2021.

To design for learning is really about storytelling.
My love of story has now blended with my love of wine.
May I join you in designing a wine experience that reflects you…your story…or a story you have yet to tell?
A remembrance of something past? Celebration of something present? Anticipation of what is to come?
I am eager to hear your story…and help you tell it…alongside some fine wine.
